The Imprimerie or “Printers” is a cross between a gallery and a concept store that showcases brands; notably those that appeal to kids. Opposite the Pompidou center and within the «funky « triangle » in the Marais, (with lots of cafes and shops), this storefront gallery is one to add to the list of places to visit when in the area. Early trendsetting starts with walls splayed with Nintendo images and playful objects. You can also join in with the creative workshops that are provided here; playful fun, while you take in the showcase of inventive ways to promote the brands that are on display, (and hundreds have already made this a platform for their communication). Whatever you feel about starting kids on a conveyor belt of brand consumption, they WILL have fun at the Imprimerie, although this is not a “Must” like Disneyland. Adults will enjoy the coffee, snacks and respite on offer while their brood around the different exhibitions…. And that’s good enough for us.
